Resume

The article provides an analysis of the modern views of specialists on such a problem as psychosomatic diseases. The publication reflects the concepts and fundamental positions of researchers in the field of psychosomatic medicine, as well as the main psychosomatic pathologies that are often encountered in the practice of an internist. At the same time, compelling evidence is accumulating in favor of common mechanisms for the development of a number of somatic diseases and mental disorders
