Resume

The authors studied the development and structure of the mucous membrane of the sphincter apparatus of the anal canal in rats at various stages of postnatal ontogenesis.

The material for the study was 56 preparations of the anal canal, taken together with the anus, in newborn rats, 6, 11, 16 and 22 days old, 3 months old, 6 months old, 12 months old, and 24 months old. the age of the rats.

During microscopic examination, morphometric measurements were performed using an eyepiece ruler. The length of the anal canal was measured in µm. The structure of the mucous membrane and submucosa in the structural sections of the anal canal in different periods of postnatal ontogenesis. The direction of the fibrous structures of the connective tissue in the intersphincteric space and sphincters was determined.The study of the authors showed that during the early postnatal ontogenesis, a greater growth rate of the anal canal mucosa was noted from the 11th to the 16th day of development, according to the authors, this is due to the transition from breastfeeding to definitive nutrition. During late postnatal ontogenesis, a greater growth rate of the canal mucosa is detected by the age of 3 months. Perhaps this is due to the onset of puberty, when structural changes take place in the body
