Resume

The freezing of biological objects is an effective tool for preserving their competencies. The modern method of cryopreservation is the vitrification, wich allows you to freeze objects without the formation of ice crystals and the development of osmotic shock. That is why this technology is so actively used in reproductive medicine. The women with reduced ovarian reserve and systemic diseases have a higher chance of their own pregnancy with a strategy of accumulating their own oocytes with minimal stimulation. Vitrification of oocytes and the possibility of their long-term storage is the most preferable for young women postponing the birth of a child at a later date. Sperm freezing is the gold standard for preserving a man’s reproductive status, including when planning gonadotoxic radiation or chemotherapy, as well as during surgery.
