Resume,

Fractures of the forearm bones in children range from 11.5 to 48.3% of bone fractures in the skeleton. Among fractures of the forearm bones, distal fractures occur up to 62%. Injury of the germ cell cartilage of the radius during fracture can have a stimulating or regressive effect on the processes of synostosis of the distal epiphysis with metaphysis. The article analyzes the long-term results of treatment of fractures of the distal end of the forearm bones in 132 patients. Long-term results were studied in all patients. Good anatomical and functional results of conservative treatment of fractures of the distal end of the forearm bones in children were observed in 89.5% of patients with conservative treatment. Long-term anatomical and functional results of treatment offractures with displacement of the distal end of the forearm bones in children show that the method of choice of treatment is determined by the developed algorithm.
