Resume

In 2019, the entire population faced a new viral disease COVID-19 (SARS-Cov-2), which occurs with many complications. We have analyzed all scientific reports on the prevalence of myocarditis during COVID-19, but the data of the authors fluctuate widely. Very often, myocarditis is overlooked under the guise of other diseases, and is not diagnosed. At the onset of fatal cases, myocarditis was not clinically suspected, included in the diagnosis, or listed as a possible cause of death. IHD, acute myocardial infarction appeared as erroneous diagnoses that did not receive confirmation at autopsy. A morphological study of heart preparations revealed a pattern of lymphocytic myocarditis that met the Dallas criteria for diagnosis. [2]. Myocarditis significantly leads to deterioration of blood flow in the fetoplacental complex.

Keywords: myocarditis, myocarditis during pregnancy, COVID-19 associated myocarditis, fetoplacental dysfunction.
