Resume

The Levoplant subcutaneous implant is an acceptable and effective method of preventing unwanted pregnancy for high-risk women, which is not inferior to the Depo-Provera injectable contraceptive. Women who used Levoplant, like Depo-Provera, have aggravated medical and social characteristics, which are: low awareness of modern methods of contraception, late reproductive age, short interbirth interval, aggravated obstetric history, high incidence of extragenital and gynecological pathology, dissatisfaction with previous methods protection from unwanted pregnancy. Conducting a comprehensive clinical and laboratory examination of women using Levoplant will make it possible to recommend it for widespread use by residents of Tajikistan.
