MANIFESTATIONS OF IL-6 AND IL1B CYTOKINE GENE POLYMORPHISMS IN VARIOUS OBSTETRIC AND GYNECOLOGICAL PATHOLOGIES

U.A. Ashurova, Tashkent Medical Academy

Resume

In this review are shown obtained results from different studies on the association of polymorphisms of the interleukin IL-6 and IL1B genes in various obstetric and gynecological pathologies. Results of mutations in the IL-6 and IL1B genes and their receptors in various populations a connected with risk of missed abortion, premature labor, endometriosis and cervical cancer were gained. An association of the G allele of the IL1B gene with a predisposition to three or more spontaneous miscarriages was revealed. In women with the CC genotype of the IL6 gene, an excess of androgens was not detected, in contrast to women with the GG genotype. Also, some candidate genes have been identified that are responsible for the risk of developing other somatic diseases, such as stomach cancer, breast cancer, vulvar cancer, etc. The results obtained may be useful in understanding of the molecular mechanisms in the genesis of various diseases, and developing preventive algorithms for managing patients with obstetrical and gynecological pathologies.

Key words: gene polymorphism, genetic mutations, interleukins, IL-6, IL1B.
