Resume
Cervical cancer (CC) is one of the urgent problems of modern oncogynecology. According to the incidence and mortality rates from cancer in the Republic of Kazakhstan, cervical cancer is at the forefront and cervical cancer screening is one of the most effective ways to detect precancerous and neoplastic lesions of the cervix.
A selective analysis (2008-2012, 2013-2017) of cytological material for screening for cervical cancer in the Republic of Kazakhstan shows that a huge number of women with diagnoses of cervical cancer, an early form of cervical cancer were detected using the cytological method for the first time (carcinoma in situ), intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN I, CIN II, CIN III).
According to the examination algorithm, women diagnosed with cervical cancer and cancer in situ are immediately referred for special treatment. However, the group of women with intraepithelial neoplasia CIN II, CIN III and positive for HPV remains under-researched.
Therefore, the new technology proposed by the authors with the determination of p16/Ki-67, registration and monitoring of all women who have passed screening is the next step to detect early forms of cervical cancer.
Key words: Cervical cancer, cytological method for diagnosing cervical cancer, carcinoma in situ), intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN I, CIN II, CIN III), new technology with p16/Ki-67 detection, registration and monitoring of all women.
