Resume,

The work is devoted to one of the topical problems of neurosurgery – surgical treatment of tumors of the lateral ventricles of the brain.This work is based on the results of clinical and laboratory studies and observations of 90 patients with tumors of the lateral ventricles of the brain, who were in treatment at the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Neurosurgery from 2010-2016. The clinical picture and histological examination data are described in detail.

The results show the need for a differentiated approach to the treatment of tumors of the lateral ventricles of the brain contributes to increasing the effectiveness of surgical treatment, reducing the number of complications and improving the prognosis of the disease.
