Resume

This article presents data from a comparative prospective study of 215 patients with type 2 diabetes, including 160 patients with diabetic neuropathy (DNP) in the stage of late complications, from 2018 to 2021. All 160 patients with DNP underwent surgical treatment of the disease. 2 groups of patients were formed: 1 gr. – patients with type 2 diabetes without DNP – 55 patients, 2 gr. – patients with DNP in the stage of late complications – 160 patients. When conducting ENMG, it was proved that the signal velocity in the 1 st group of patients was slightly reduced compared to the norm, especially in the 2nd group before treatment. The number of muscle sites that should be responsible for irritation (M-response) was reduced several times, more in the 2 and group, also before treatment. In dynamics after 3 and 6 months. after treatment, these indicators significantly increased (p<0.05).
