Resume

The authors found that more than 500 methods of intestinal anastomosis have already been developed and implemented to connect hollow organs. However, the number of proposed methods for applying intestinal anastomosis is increasing every year, which is associated with a relatively high incidence of postoperative complications and mortality. These circumstances were the reason for the development and implementation of modified methods and techniques of operations, which made it possible to reduce the frequency of complications associated with the formation of anastomoses – 7.4% (in the control – 12.3%). Thus, the results of surgical treatment of patients with left-sided colonic stoma have been improved.
