MORPHOLOGICAL CHANGES IN THE OVARIAN CHILDREN UNDER 3 MONTHS

Resume

In this study, the ovaries of children who died for various reasons under the age of 3 months were histologically studied. The material was taken from the ovaries of 18 children who died from abdominal asphyxia and pneumopathy at the age of up to 3 months. The results showed that primordial eggs are densely located in the cortical layer of the ovaries of newborns, follicular structures appear in the border areas of the medulla, and pregranular and coelimic cells of various densities are present in the interstitium. It was determined that by the age of 3 months in babies, primordial eggs in the ovarian cortex are rare, most of them have undergone degenerative-destructive changes, fibrous connective tissue bundles have appeared in the interstitial tissue. Therefore, from the first postnatal period in babies, some of the primordial eggs that perform the reproductive function are destroyed and atretized in the ovaries, and an increase in granulosa and theca tissue cells is observed in the interstitial tissue.
