Resume

Congenital cleft lip and palate is a severe defect of the face and jaw, accompanied by gross anatomical and functional disorders. Difficulties in restoring the impaired vital functions of nutrition, breathing and speech, anatomical restoration of the upper lip, nose and upper jaw in the growing body cause disability in children with cleft lip and palate for many years. In this article, we describe optimal treatment algorithms for children with speech disorders.
