THE ROLE OF SKIN MICROFLORA AND FUNGIWITH SEBORRHEIC DERMATITIS

Resume

Articles provide information on the characteristics of seborrheic dermatitis. Seborrheic dermatitis is a chronic skin disease that occurs in all age groups of patients, mainly in young and active working age, has a variety of clinical forms, which requires histological studies to verify the diagnosis. The microflora in the lesions with seborrheic dermatitis is characterized by mycobacterial flora – representatives of yeast-like lipophilic fungi of the genus Pityrosporum and the Micrococcaceae family.

Key words: seborrheic dermatitis, fungi of the genus Pityrosporum and the family Micrococcaceae, microflora, clinical features, skin scales, cinnamon, erythema, papular rashes.
