THE ROLE OF IMMUNE RESPONSE MEDIATORS IN PATIENTS WITH ACNE DISEASE

Resume

Although there are many studies devoted to the study of various aspects of the acne problem, many aspects of it remain unexplored. It is known that acne develops against the background of certain changes in the immune system.

The aim of the investigation is to study the clinical features and levels of pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory cytokines in patients with acne. 68 patients with acne aged 14 to 35 years were examined. The level of serum cytokinins (IL-4, IL-6, IL-10 and IL-17A) was studied by the IFA method.

The results of the study showed that hypersecretion of the studied cytokines was observed in patients with acne depending on the severity of the disease. Thus, the level of IL-4 exceeded the value of the control group by 1.9 times, IL-6 by 2.7 times, and IL-17A by 4.3 times. An increase in the level of cytokines led to a chronic course of the disease.
