Resume

The so-called coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has a higher severity and mortality in the elderly, in patients with comorbidities such as hypertension and diabetes, and in people with reduced immune activity. In addition to being a serious threat to public health, the pandemic has also affected social life and the global economy.
