Resume
Purpose of work: to improve the results of surgical treatment of patients with retroperitoneal abscesses through the use of a minimally invasive method. Material and methods of research: This study analyzed the treatment data of 45 patients with purulent diseases of the retroperitoneal space, who received inpatient treatment in the department of purulent surgery of the multidisciplinary clinic of the Tashkent Medical Academy in 2019–2022. Results and their analysis: The intervention performed in 45 patients according to this technique was final in all patients. Expansion of the scope of intervention was not required in any case. The average duration of treatment was 3.2±4.6 days. There were no lethal outcomes in the presented group of patients. All patients after discharge are under our supervision. Patients had no history of recurrence of infectious complications. Conclusions: This method of surgical treatment is highly effective, technically feasible on the basis of any surgical hospital, economically feasible, since it does not require the purchase of additional equipment. When using this method of intervention, the duration of inpatient treatment of the patient is significantly reduced, less traumatic, and mortality and complications are significantly reduced.
