Resume

The article discusses the use of gel technologies in clinical practice. Phenotyping of erythrocytes according to the Rhesus system, as well as establishing the titer and specificity of antibodies to erythrocyte antigens, provides more opportunities for assessing the risk of developing hemolytic disease in a newborn child and selecting timely adequate therapy.

Key words: hemolytic disease of the newborn, erythrocyte phenotyping, gel technology, Rh immunization, prevention of hemolytic disease of the newborn.
