Resume
This article reviews the importance of uteroplacental circulation in the process of fetal growth and development during pregnancy. The mechanisms of epithelial dysfunction formation in impaired uteroplacental-fetal circulation are reviewed and the significance of immunological and endothelial biomarkers is reflected. Disturbances of uterine-placental blood flow lead to such pregnancy complications as preeclampsia, fetal growth retardation, hypoxia up to fatal outcome. IPC regulation is vital for maternal and fetal well-being.
Key words: endothelial dysfunction, endothelium, fetal growth retardation, uteroplacental blood flow, immunity.
