Resume,

Diabetes mellitus type 2 refers to risk factors for cardiovascular diseases, which are currently the main cause of early disability and mortality of the able-bodied papulation.

According to Panzram G. diabetes diabetes increases lethality by 2-3 times, the risk of developing coronary heart disease and myocardial infarction is 2 times, renal pathology 17 times, gangrene of lower extremities 20 times, arterial hypertension more than three times.
