SURGICAL TREATMENT OF BRAIN ARTERIOVENOUS MALFORMATIONS

Resume

It was analyzed experience of the surgical treatment of 28 patients with brain arteriovenous malformations in Bukhara branch of the Republican scientific center of emergency medical care. Results of the arteriovenous malformations treatment were depended on location, features of venous outflow, as well as from morphometry. Significant clinical effect, such as decreased risk of re-bleeding and improvement in neurological deficit was determined in patients with AVM location in superficial parts of the hemispheres, with the main type of venous outflow and with the small and medium volume of AVM.
