Resume
Four hundred sixty women of reproductive age (15-49 years old) were examined. Among them, blood pressure and body weight were assessed depending on the number of pregnancies and births in the anamnesis. At the time of the examination, these women were not pregnant. Bodyweight was studied according to the height-weight index (Quetelet index). Cases of termination of pregnancy for various reasons and the birth of a stillborn child were not taken into account. The study did not include cases of severe arterial hypertension (AH), grade 2 and 3 obesity, decompensated diabetes mellitus, and heart failure. It was found that the number of pregnancies and births of more than two is associated with an increase in blood pressure and body weight. Therefore, it seems appropriate to carry out preventive work in relation to the possible increase in blood pressure and body weight among this category of women. At the same time, the authors draw attention to the fact that a single-factor analysis was carried out and did not take into account such factors as the intervals between pregnancies, the presence of a number of concomitant diseases, as well as ranking by age. Therefore, the results obtained can only reflect the general situation.

Keywords: women, pregnancy, arterial hypertension, overweight, obesity, risk factors, prevention.
