A complete understanding of the physiopathology of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) and its associated histopathological lesions is essential to improve management and outcomes in patients with coronavirus disease (COVID-19). However, many of the morphological data collected so far are non-specific, inconsistent, and possibly related to other coexisting factors. Having studied the histological changes that occur in the organs after infection with COVID19, it allows you to better imagine the picture of the disease.
