Resume

Anthropometry is an accepted method for assessing the growth and development of a child. The main anthropometric parameters that determine the physical development of children and adolescents are weight, height, chest circumference and body surface area. The purpose of the study is to study the parameters of the physical development of healthy children from 5-14 years old. Materials and methods. 280 healthy children from 5 to 12 years old were studied, including 140 girls and 140 boys. In conclusion, we state that the growth and development of children aged 5-7 years goes according to age, there are no deviations, and these indicators can be used as standard values. The study of height and weight indicators in healthy children aged 8-12 showed that all parameters in boys and girls were close to each other, only some parameters of growth (at 8 and 10 years), body surface area (at 10 years) and chest circumference (at 8, 10, 11 and 12 years old) did not significantly, but significantly differed from each other.
