PREVALENCE AND CLINICAL COURSE OF AUTOMYCOSIS IN CHILDREN IN BUKHARA REGION

Resume

The wide distribution of fungi in nature, their constant presence both in the environment and in the body determines the inevitability of human contact and infection. Currently, there is an increase in the number of patients with mycotic lesions of the ENT organs and, in particular, the outer and middle ear, including the post-surgery cavities of the middle ear. The increase in the number of patients is associated with a significant increase in risk factors for the development of mycosis and the uncontrolled use of local antibacterial drugs in the treatment of otitis media. The degree of identification of risk factors leading to otomycosis in children is studied and analyzed on the example of Bukhara region. The practical significance of the work is that, for the first time, evidence-based recommendations are developed for the diagnosis and optimization of treatment of otomycosis in children.
