Resume

Spondylodiscitis (SD) – infectious disease vertebrae and intervertebral disks . Its frequency has increased in recent years due to the increase in invasive manipulation on spine . The urgency of this problem is determined by the fact that with such disease violated two the main functions of the spine are to ensure a stable vertical position of the body and protection spinal nervous structures . At the same time, the diagnosis of spondylodiscitis is difficult and often occurs co a significant delay after the onset of the first symptoms, which is associated with a rare occurrence given disease , non-specificity of its manifestations, and in connection with this, insufficient awareness doctors By issues infectious defeats spine .
