Since December 2019, COVID-19, a sickness brought on by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, has had a significant impact on people all over the world [1-3]. It is now recognized that COVID-19 causes numerous organ dysfunction after first being characterized as producing SARS with substantial mortality and morbidity[4-5]. Unprecedented research has improved knowledge of the pathogenesis and progression of the illness, which has resulted in significant advancements in the clinical management of COVID-19, including the use of antivirals and monoclonal antibodies, the creation of standardized protocols for the care of hospitalized patients, and vaccination campaigns.
