Resume

The paper presents the results of a clinical study of 942 people from 45 to 89 years to study the prevalence of complete loss of teeth, the need for adult people of different age groups to eliminate it. It has been shown that the number of patients suffering from complete loss of teeth in one or both jaws increases with age. It has been established that in the elderly and senile age, prosthetic stomatitis is more common, as well as jaws of 3-5 types of atrophy, which, due to their anatomical features, serve as a poor support for fixing and stabilizing removable dentures.
