POSINFARCTION REMODELING IN PATIENTS WITH TYPE 2 DIABETES MELLITUS

Resume

This article presents the results of studying the processes of post-infarction remodeling in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. It was found that in patients with type 2 diabetes, along with a violation of the contractile function of the myocardium of the left ventricle (LV), there were also violations of the diastolic function of the LV. LV systolic dysfunction was correlated with an increase in the level of matrix metalloproteinases 3 and 9.
