Resume

The odontogenic system begins to form in the embryonic period and continues to develop throughout childhood. Before the teeth erupt, their rudiments are formed inside the tissues, which are also called dental plates. This process takes place in the womb during the period from 7 to 13 weeks (baby teeth) and from 23 to 25 weeks (permanent teeth) of pregnancy. The appearance of baby teeth in children is an individual process, but dentists have long determined the average period and the order of this process. From 3 to 8 months, you can expect the eruption of the lower incisors, and then the upper ones. After the central teeth, lateral incisors appear. By the year, the baby may have from 2 to 8 teeth or even more. Mostly after one year, molars, canines and then the second molars begin to erupt.

Keywords: odontogenic, formation, children, lobular teeth.
