Resume
Non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas (specialists use the abbreviation NHL for the disease) is a cancer of the lymphatic system. This type of lymphoma refers to malignant lymphomas. The term “malignant lymphoma” literally means “malignant enlargement of the lymph nodes.” Specialists combine in this term a large group of oncological diseases. They all start in the cells of the lymphatic system and their main symptom is an enlargement of the lymph nodes (that is, lymphoma).
Key words: lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease, symptoms, treatment.
