Resume
The high risk of thrombotic complications in patients with diabetes, even more increased in the post-Covid period, requires practicing physicians to be especially vigilant and carefully monitor the state of the hemostatic system and the function of the vascular endothelium. Routine laboratory tests may be insufficient for dynamic monitoring and timely detection of abnormalities. In this article, the author proposes the determination of cell adhesion molecules as a predictor of thrombotic complications in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus in the post-Covid period.
Key words: how to assess the risk of thrombotic complications, patients with post-Covid syndrome, normal coagulogram values?
