Resume

This article provides information on histotopography of the female urethra, causes, pathogenesis, morphogenesis and morphology of the formation of safe tumors. The urethra of women is a short groove 4-5 cm long in relation to the urethra of men and enters only the excretory system, the wall of which consists of three: mucous, under the mucosa and muscle layers. Urethral polyps are often found in women over 50 years of age, the cause is a violation of the amount of the hormone estrogen in the mucous membrane, which leads to the proliferation of tissues and cells, the reproduction and development of polyps. In the pathogenesis of tumor formation, the structures of the mucous membrane, including the cavernous veins, are disorganized due to an increase in fibrous tissue around the urethra, in addition to which the presence of an inflammatory process in the stroma confirms the development of tumors after infection. Depending on the histotopography of these tumors, it is observed that they have the following histological variants: papillomatous, angiomatous, granulomatous, fibromatous manifestations.
