Rezume

Introduction. The study of the manifestations of the tuberculosis epidemic process is of great scientific and practical importance. The purpose of the study: to analyze the manifestations of the epidemic process in order to improve measures to combat tuberculosis. Materials and methods. Official data reflecting the incidence and prevalence of tuberculosis. Results and its discussion. In the Khorezm region in 2022, compared with 2005, the incidence of tuberculosis decreased by 1.8 times, the prevalence decreased by 1.9 times.In 2010-2022 the proportion of age groups 0-14 and 15-17 years old in the age structure of tuberculosis incidence has significantly decreased. The proportion of men in the gender composition of TB patients is on average 1.2 times higher than the proportion of women, and this is due to the fact that men are more exposed to various social and household risk factors for TB than women, and the proportion of boys in the composition of TB patients in the age group of 15-17 years is high, which is explained by the influence of biological factors on the development of the disease.Conclusions. The results of the study should be taken into account when implementing anti-tuberculosis measures.
