Resume

This scientific article analyzes the results of repeated interventions after previously performed reconstructive surgeries in 46 patients with valve dysfunction after plastic surgery. Mitral valve dysfunction was noted in 43 patients and aortic valve dysfunction in 3. The average age of patients was 46 years, ranging from 22 to 62 years. All patients were implanted with mechanical prostheses: disc – 25, bicuspid – 18. The long-term eight-year survival rate of patients after repeated interventions for dysfunction of a previously reconstructed heart valve was 80%. In general, timely diagnosis makes it possible to effectively and fairly safely operate on a heart valve defect that has arisen after a previous reconstruction.
