Resume

This scientific work analyzes the results of radiological diagnostics of 180 patients with traumatic injuries of the thoracolumbar junction of the spine. The most characteristic signs of radiographic, computed tomographic and magnetic resonance imaging examinations were identified. At the same time, radiation diagnostic methods made it possible to identify patterns of damage characteristic of each of the vertebrae of the thoracolumbar junction and to relate them to the anatomical and biomechanical features of this part of the spine. The results obtained were subsequently used to systematize injuries to the thoracolumbar junction, as well as to determine the tactics of surgical treatment of this category of patients.

Keywords: thoracolumbar spine, radiation diagnostics, radiography, computed tomography, magnetic resonance tomography.
