Resume

This article presents an assessment of the dental status of patients suffering from oncological diseases in the initial examination and in the process of antitumor treatment. Widely recognized dental indices based on clinical data and scientific research were used for reliable evaluation. The assessment was carried out at different stages of treatment, starting with the initial examination, and included a visual examination of the oral cavity, assessment of teeth, gums, mucous membrane, as well as X-ray examinations if necessary. The results of the data analysis showed high values of dental indices in patients with oncological diseases, and the indicators in patients from different groups practically did not differ from each other. Systematic assessment of the dental condition during antitumor treatment is an important component of a comprehensive medical approach to such patients and allows you to determine the initial state of the oral cavity, monitor changes and make decisions about further interventions to maintain oral health.
