Resume

In scientific research, the specificity of the treatment processes with fixed orthodontic devices for anomalies of the dental system in children accompanied by chronic diseases of the gastrointestinal tract has been studied.It has been established that the deterioration of oral hygiene accelerates the recurrence of chronic diseases of the gastrointestinal tract. In the main group, 88.6% of children had chronic gastroduodenitis, 11.4% had chronic gastritis. In both groups of children, there were no gastroenterological clinical symptoms – pain and dyspeptic syndrome – in 74.2% and 80.15%, which indicates that before treatment with fixed orthodontic devices, the main somatic disease in children was in remission.
