CONSERVATIVE TREATMENT OF PATIENTS WITH DISCOGENIC LUMBOSACRAL RADICULOPATHY

Soibnazarov O.E. Samarkand State Medical University Uzbekistan

Resume

The purpose of our work is to study the effectiveness of complex conservative treatment of patients with discogenic lumbosacral radiculopathy.

A dynamic observation of 30 patients (12 men, 18 women, average age 39.5±2.2 years) with discogenic lumbosacral radiculopathy was carried out. The diagnosis was established on the basis of a neurological and neuroorthopedic examination, confirmation of discoradicular conflict by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).

The identification of combined musculoskeletal causes of pain in almost half of the patients and their adequate therapy (NSAIDs, muscle relaxants) contributed to achieving a positive result.

Key words: conservative treatment, patients with discogenic lumbosacral radiculopathy, adequate therapy.
