THE COURSE OF PERITONITIS IN THE HOT REGIONS OF UZBEKISTAN

Resume
A retrospective analysis of the medical records of 274 patients with appendicular peritonitis at the Bukhara branch of the Republican Emergency Scientific Center of Medical Care for 2020 was carried out. Depending on the time of admission to the hospital, all patients are conditionally divided into the following subgroups: in 1A – subgroup (n=195) who were admitted to the hospital up to 8 hours from the onset of the disease and underwent appendectomy, in 1B – subgroup (n=75) who were admitted to the hospital up to 20 hours from the onset of the disease and underwent appendectomy with abdominal drainage, in 1B – subgroup (n=4) who were admitted to the hospital up to 36 hours from the onset of the disease, appendectomy with sanitation and drainage of the abdominal cavity. An analysis of the results revealed that early diagnosis and surgery is more effective.
