Resume,

The color of the iris is determined by the number of melanocytes in the stroma and is an inherited sign. Dominant inherited brown iris and blue recessive. Most newborn babies have a light blue iris due to weak pigmentation. By 36 months the number of melanocytes increases and the iris darkens. The iris is able not only to signal the state of health of the internal organs, but also gives beauty. The appearance of the fifth on the iris or its lightening, indicates some health problems. The reflection of the change in the state a of the iris is explained by the presence of its complex connections with the reticular formation of the brain, which receives information about the work of all organs and systems.
