CONDITION OF NASAL CAVITY IN PATIENTS WITH CLEFT UPPER LIP AND PALATE

Resume,

In this work, we studied the anatomical and topographical features of the nasal cavity in 103 children with congenital cleft lip and palate. The patients are divided into three groups depending on the age and time of the surgical intervention. The results of endoscopic examination of the nasal cavity in children with congenital cleft lip and palate before and after surgery showed that the severity of nasal deformity depends on the onset of the operative period – the older the patient, the more pronounced the strain, especially in children over 5 years.
