Resume

According to research, periodontal disease occurs in patients of all age groups. At the same time, apical periodontitis is the mostoften occurs among people of working age with a tendency to an increase in the number of patients of young age and older age categories: 45-50% – at the age of 39-44 and more than 50% in persons over 50. Increase in the proportion of person’s elderly and senile age contributes to the increase in the incidence of different forms of chronic periodontitis.
