Resume,

Pyloric stenosis is one of the most severe pathologies of the gastrointestinal tract. Its essence is that there is a narrowing of the output section of the stomach, which is adjacent to the duodenum 12. You can diagnose the disease from the second week of life. It is worth noting that the likelihood of this disease is quite low, and occurs in 1-4 children for every 1000 newborns. In fairness, we note that boys are much more likely to become sick than girls. Pyloric stenosis in newborns proceeds in a rather severe form, and treatment is carried out only by the surgical method and in case of untimely surgery, even a fatal outcome is possible.

Key words: pyloric stenosis, early childhood, stomach, newborn.
