Resume,

Despite of numerous advances in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases in the perinatal period, non-immune hydrops fetalis currently remains relevant and plays a significant role in the structure of perinatal morbidity and mortality. A particular problem in the practical work of obstetricians-gynecologists in identifying the early signs of non- immune hydrops fetalis caused by parvovirus B19 is the lack of a classic picture and in half of cases the asymptomatic course of the disease in pregnant women. This article provides up-to-date detailed information on various aspects of the problem of non-immune hydrops fetalis caused by parvovirus B19. Based on the analysis of literature data, etiology, epidemiology, clinical manifestations, diagnosis and treatment of the disease are described. The focus is on the adverse effects of parvovirus B19 on the fetus.
