Resume,

The article is devoted to the study of the current state of functioning of sewage systems in Uzbekistan and the development of recommendations for protecting the environment from pollution by domestic wastewater. It has been established that the availability of sewerage systems in the republic as a whole in cities is 66.4%, in urban-type settlements 4.9% and in rural settlements 0.5%. The effectiveness of the functioning of sewage systems in the whole country and in the context of regions is not satisfactory.
