Resume,

The article analyzes the results of treating the residual cavity with echinococcectomy in patients with liver echinococcosis using various methods of antiparasitic treatment of the residual cavity. The results of the study showed that when treating the residual cavities with iodine dicerine during liver echinococcectomy, the drug has a detrimental effect on all types of germinal elements of echinococcus and microorganisms, harmless to the patient’s body. The use of iodicerine for the treatment of the residual cavity reduces the number of postoperative complications and relapses of the disease.
