Resume

The formation of bronchial asthma in children with atopic dermatitis is facilitated by the persistent course of atopic dermatitis, as well as the expansion of the spectrum of sensitization at the age of 4 to 6 years, which coincides with the time of manifestation of allergic rhinitis. In children with atopic dermatitis and bronchial asthma, there is a direct correlation between the severity of atopic dermatitis and the severity of bronchial asthma.

Severe bronchial asthma in children with atopic dermatitis over the age of 6 is more common in girls, as well as in patients who have undergone perinatal encephalopathy in infancy, suffering from chronic adenoiditis, chronic gastroduodenitis, disorder  of the autonomic nervous system, with signs of connective tissue dysplasia.

Children with combined allergic pathology and a family history of atopic dermatitis on the mother’s side are characterized by a persistent course of atopic dermatitis and the formation of its severe forms.
