REVIEW OF THE FEATURES OF TREATMENT OF HEMORRHOIDS IN CHILDREN

Resume

This paper provides an overview of the possibilities and features of treatment of hemorrhoids in children. In the local and world literature there are practically few works devoted to the study of the possibility and features of the treatment of hemorrhoids in childhood. The authors argue that currently existing methods of treating hemorrhoids in adults used in childhood are relatively traumatic and are not without complications. When treating hemorrhoids in children, pediatric surgeons are little aware of the differentiated approach to treatment tactics according to the stages of the disease and the age of the patients, and therefore do not know how to further manage and treat these patients. In this review, the authors, on the basis of literature data, examine and analyze the possibilities of alternative methods of complex treatment tactics for hemorrhoids, taking into account the age-related anatomical and physiological characteristics of children, which require further scientific study.
