Resume

The aim of the study was to expand the range of knowledge of practitioners on the diagnosis and surgical tactics of congenital rectal sac in children based on the analysis of literature data and their own observations. Literature data on classification, anatomical forms, aspects of diagnosis and surgical tactics and own observations consisting of 9 cases are presented. The complexity of diagnosis and preoperative verification of the form of pathology is emphasized. Taking into account our own observations and analysis of literature data, diagnostic and operational-tactical approaches are summarized depending on the form of pathology and the nature of concomitant anomalies and the severity of the somatic background of the patient.
